Well we have had a fairly good run of swell since my last instalment not all time but plenty time in the water and a few good waves, surprisingly uncrowded Noosa. I fell a bit spoilt since starting with Coreban International / Australia as I seem to be having way to much fun to call it work.
The week started with me loosing a Go Pro Camera while shooting at the River Mouth - Lucky Jodie was on the beach getting video evidence of me kooking it, who need enemies when you've got your wife who is always there to remind you your a knuckle head LOL
This week saw 2 Cyclones develop out in the Coral Sea - Cyclone Andrew and Cyclone Yasi. Cyclone Yasi causing major damage up North. I can't fathom what they must be going through. While there was a few waves we didn't get what was forecast but had 2 days where there was some fun wave about the coast.
Not only SUP drop in! Look Left!
Saw a Fish!
The Triple J Event
The Team down the Goldie fired up this week announcing that they were going to run a 24hr paddle event to raise money for the Premier Flood Appeal.
I was pleasantly surprised when Guy from Coreban International came to the party and donated 4 boards and a couple of paddles for the Goldie Crew to Auction. If you want to Donate or bid for a board contact the Roar Industries Crew or call Paul Jackson (mobile 0418 722 928 ) or Angela Van Hoof (mobile 0437533324 ) or Roar Industries (store 07 5525 7003 )
Friday we went down to Brisbane to suss out our new Coreban SUP Australia Bus all still in the planning phase but hopefully you will see us around the Aussie Coast soon! Exploring this unreal surf coast line, also plan with some of the local surf shops to do demo days so stay tuned to the spot.
Well thats it for this week will see you all on the water
Ma te wa
