Sat 6 August, Lake Kawana,
10am - 12pm

Crashed early last night only to wake up at mid night and sit in the dark buzzing not sure why but the beer at 1am seemed to do the trick.
The morning brought plenty of things to do organize a ride to the Sic factory pick up a board organize another board for PJ and anything else that may pop up.
Ali from the Golidie was kind enough to come pick up the boys and hook us up with some wheels to go pick up the new weapon one word SIC.
Thanks to the guys at the factory cherry job stoked to be on one of your bench mark boards.
After that we headed back to Kahului to get ready for our first Maliko run.
It was fun in the shuttle bus thanks to Kelly from moorewatertime.com for providing such a great service is always good to be hanging with like minded people frothing to go do what we do YEEW.
The funniest thing was when we came over the rise at Hookipa the van went from bustling noise to silent when we all saw the ocean and the bumps from a great angle I will be sure to get photos on the next run.
The run whilst fun was not all time but was a great way to get the bugs out and get on the water and try the new stick.
All in all a great day and a good start to the Hawaii adventure will update again in a couple days with footage from some run.
Well it's on the Blu I Mex c Can and I are off after months of training and getting to know one another HAWAII here we come ready and willing for some good times and plenty of ocean time.
With the day starting with a quick last visit to Al at the chiro and a quick visit to Crossfit Noosa to say thanks to both for the support and help in the build up it was down to TBIMCC place.
With a quick dash down to Brisbane with Mumsie mex c can we managed to make our way to check in where we were mistaken for a honey moon couple (you would be so lucky Jonsey) hahahahahaha not really just one of those funny moments you have with people.
Luckily we had both done Esta I mean do our Esta (Us immigration stuff) so all good and to my surprise Mexcan is actually an Aussie and not just a Mexcan trying to get to the land of opportunity.
After clearing security (apologies about the glove incident Jonesy) we managed to discuise our selves as cooperate boofheads and sneak in to the Qantus lounge and proceed to eat like kings.
One thing I must mention is that I do believe we have set a new luggage record with us only checking in 13kg of gear between the two of us paddles included shit I hope Jonsey knows how to work a washing machine or we are not going to be overly good company.
Yeeeeeew currently heading to Sydney will talk again soon
Yeew!
Enjoy the Ride
